Sidhe Languages

 

Ceoltean is the original Sidhe language. It cannot be written (though it can be represented visually) and today, only a few very talented Brianu bards can “speak” it. During the 2nd Age, the Bard Amfortas invented a writing system similar to musical notation and derived a simpler spoken/sung language from Ceoltean. This language is now known as Ancient Amhran; Modern Amhran, a more streamlined written version is today the sacred language of the Brianu Bards.
